This post links to the YouTube video of my latest appearance on Sandy Schoelles’ show, “Environmental Coffeehouse,” featuring my conversation with Jennifer Hynes about the recent Guardian article, “Methane much more sensitive to global heating than previously thought.”  We take a deep dive into a bit of atmospheric chemistry involving hydroxyl radicals and discuss two feedback loops that may be a big part of the reason methane has been spiking over the last few years.

There was an audio glitch where whenever a full-screen image was posted, the audio dropped out.  Just skip past those bits.  Here is the video:

We are definitely careering towards near-term extinction – possibly sooner than we expected. My view is that we cannot solve this problem if we stay in the same consciousness within which we have created it. Therefore, a radical transformation of both individual and collective consciousness is a pre-requisite for our being able to ALL wake up; come together as one; reverse, capture, and store carbon emissions; and radically transform our lifestyles. My work is helping people to make that shift – in time – and going on to help others. Please contact me if you’re interested. Thanks!

Eliot, look around. Montecito is exploding with Teslas and Ebikes. Also, the brilliant government Project Anal Cork for cows will eliminate methane. Soon it will be so cold here we will want those blankets back we gave the Indians. By the way, they don’t like your book.
