I was thrilled to be invited to present at December’s MEERTalk this year. I’ve known about MEER for years. They are smart folks, grounded in functional science, who are already doing good work around the world. They allowed me to pick any topic, and there was a lot to choose from. I chose to talk about the chaos surrounding the lack of a clear definition of 1.5C in the Paris Agreement.
