My fourth appearance on ‘Santa Barbara Talks’ with Josh Molina. We started off talking about the upcoming presidential election, including the good and bad about Harris, everything bad about Trump and a shout-out to third-party candidate Jill Stein. We then took many twists and turns, including hurricanes Helene and Milton, Al Gore’s 2006 movie “Inconvenient Truth,” terraforming a different planet, the fires in the Amazon, tipping points and feedback loops, what I think about as far as the climate, and Jeff Bezos (a different Amazon). The end part was a brief dive into what it means to be a doomer (for me).
